Where Nations Meet to Worship!

We Believe

  • that the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God.  The Bible is our only inffallible rule of faith and practice.  We believe that the Bible supercedes even this statement of faith.

  • in only one God, eternally existing in three persons, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  We believe in God as He has revealed Himself in Holy Scriptures.

  • in God the Father, the Sovereign and Supreme Creator and Ruler of the heavens and the earth.

  • in Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, who became man without ceasing to be God, and was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.  He came to reveal God to mankind and to redeem His people from sin through His life, death and resurrection.  We believe that Christ will once again visibly return to remove His Church from the earth and to set up an earthly kingdom.  God will do this in His own time and in His own way.

  • in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Holy Trinity.  He glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ and convicts individuals of sin, righteousness, and judgment.  He permanently indwells all believers to cause them to walk in God's ways.

  • that the first man, Adam, was created in the image of God.  Through a voluntary act of disobedience, he fell into a state of sin, lost his spiritual life, and became dead in sins and corrupt in nature.  As our federal representative, his sin nature has been passed down to all who are born.

  • that salvation from the guilt and condemnation of sin is possible only as the gift of God's grace through the substitutionary life and death of Jesus Christ.

  • that all believers are united together by the Holy Spirit into the Body of Christ--the Church.  We believe that the Church is to be a light for unbelievers, to point them to the true light of Jesus Christ.

  • that Christ has commanded His Church to observe two New Testament ordinances:  water baptism and the Lord's Supper.

  • that at death, the souls of believers pass immediately into the presence of Jesus Christ.  At death, the souls of unbelievers pass immediately into torment.
